Why do apps prefer to eat apples?

In other words, why do new apps reach Apple devices first than Android? The answer is very simple: because Apple places the apps in a prominent place in its App Store for a while in exchange for the exclusivity that this means for its users. Android customers are accustomed (more or less) to having to wait for a new app to consolidate on Google Play so they can download and enjoy it. In contrast, it seems that many apps, and especially many games, are available for iOS devices rather than Android. For example, Apple reached an exclusivity agreement with Electronic Arts (company responsible for games as famous as Plants vs. Zombies), or the game Cut the Rope 2 from developer ZeptoLab in exchange for their games were two to three months visible on the front page of the App Store. Another decisive factor that large companies take into account when launching their apps in the market is the problem of Android fragmentation. Apple only has a couple of mobile devices, the iPhone and iPad, but Android is present in hundreds of different models. This fact makes many developers opt for Apple and its most similar formats before Android, where devices have very different screens and ways of working.
