An App to always remember

There are few things better than a useful App . It is not that we think that some are not, that it is possible, but that there are those that due to their special incidence have a greater perception of being useful as well as necessary . This is the case for many medical applications . Apps that help both doctors when setting treatments and patients to work better in relation to certain types of diseases. And this is the case of the App AlzhUpp , specially designed for those suffering from Alzheimer’s . Still under development and collection of funds, this application is presented as an aid to the sick, a digital service of therapies “scientifically validated” according to their own creators. Taking advantage of technological tools, this App proposes a series of memory exercises specially designed to slow down the advance of this disease that aims to be the great global epidemic in developed countries in the very short term. Exercises but also the possibility for each patient to create their own memory bank in which they can include photos, videos or sounds that will later be used to formalize individual therapies. In this way, the patient will be able to remember familiar moments or faces during the exercises proposed in the application. Rafael Espinosa, the promoter of this initiative, hopes to raise the 370,000 euros that he estimates the development of this application may cost. Its launch is scheduled for the second quarter of 2015.
