Selfies in tribute to Warhol

We have said little in this blog about applications for Windows Phone and, although some of them are also for these devices, the truth is that few developers bet on this operating system. However, those who do are able to bring a specific product to the market that is more than attractive. Therefore, today, we focus on an App developed exclusively for this operating system: 4Color. It is not known whether the Windows Phone user is more of an art lover than others, but, without a doubt, he is the first to have at his disposal an App specially inspired by the work of one of the artists most influential of the twentieth century. It is none other than Andy Warhol , with all due respect to Richard Hamilton , the King of Pop Art, or popular art. His iconic works of art are a world reference and the mobile world has not been left out. 4Color is a tribute to his work. Although simple, this App allows users to convert any portrait into a reproduction of Warhol’s famous four-color painting. Simply take a photo, or select it from the album, for the application to automatically apply the four corresponding color filters. Few steps, maximum simplicity for a result that will give a fun, different touch to self-portraits. The only downside to this App, beyond being exclusive for Windows Phone, is that it lacks the social aspect that many of these Apps tend to have. That is, we will not be able to share the final result from the application itself on our social networks or among our contacts, but must be done manually. A lesser evil.
