The change has come . After weeks of intense work we can now present you a new version of King of App. We have revolutionized the Kingdom! Now it will be even easier and more attractive to create your App. King of App opens up to the world and opens up to you. The road to open-source has begun and we do so by presenting a new interface , totally renewed that will help you both in navigability and when discovering our most important news. Implementations of which, week by week, we are going to tell you about here.
Of this new version that we now release, the first thing that is going to be new to you is the chosen design. Although we continue with the same line as before, everything has changed. The side menu appears for the first time on our platform and we end the creation flow “step by step”. We want you to be free to go wherever you want, from templates to the modules, from the general configuration of the App to customize its appearance. And all in a simple and intuitive way.
Our new side menu gives you full freedom of navigation while allowing you to see, at a glance, all the available options.
New options and functionalities so that your App is unique , different from the others. We come out with 20 basic modules and, most of them, free so you can start creating your applications now, but new options are coming soon. Ours, but also yours. We have completely changed the technological core of the platform and now, yes, it will be extremely easy for you to create your own modules depending on what you need. A job that you can also get a great benefit from thanks to our store.
A store where you can earn a living
Yes, you read that correctly: templates and modules store. This is another of our great novelties for this first release. We want you, the King of App Community to be masters and lords of our platform and, therefore, we offer you the possibility of selling your own creations. For this you will only need to have minimal notions of programming or web design. In future posts we will tell you more details on how to do it and you will see how simple it is;)
But don’t go yet, there’s still more! The new evolution of King of App includes new features, more variety and more power . Soon you will have a push notification service completely adapted to you. Or advertising in applications, where you can choose between different providers so that you get the most out of your App.
And we’ve also changed the look of our templates. Thanks to technologies such as Polymer, we have managed to adapt them to the Material Design criteria, making the user experience even better than before. At the moment we are starting with two templates but don’t worry that in a few days we will fill the store with options. For now, why not experiment with the customization options we’ve designed?
