King of App

Google Calls to “Mobilize”

Google, the biggest and largest of search engines, the one that knows everything, the reference on the Internet, pioneer and trend-setter, has struck again. It has recently been published that among its search results we find will indicate whether the page in question is suitable for mobile browsingAnd logically, those that are will appear first. So the definitive moment has arrived for the mobilization of web pages.

The mobilization It is nothing more or less than adapting the designs of web pages to mobile browsing. To do this, a series of basic precepts must be met, such as not including content that is illegible for mobile browsers or that the layout adapts perfectly to the screen, in what is called a responsive design.

In summaryTo qualify a website as “mobile-friendly”, Google wants the following:
– Avoid software that cannot be loaded on mobile devices, such as flash content.
– The text can be read without having to zoom.
– That the content fits on the screen without the need to use horizontal scroll or zoom.
– That the links are in appropriate places and formats so that it is easy to activate them.

Most new generation websites are already of this type, so their administrators need not worry much. However, Mobile browsing is rapidly moving towards something beyond responsive web. They are the Apps.

Many of us will already be doing searches from the App Google, so it will soon appear in the search results themselves if the page or reference we are looking for has its own mobile application. An App that, obviously, must be published on the Google play (i.e. for Android devices) if you want to appear as high as possible in search results - If Google+ position, how could google play not do it?

Indeed, the latter is nothing more than mere speculation, but given the direction in which the market and trends in mobile browsing are evolving, it is not at all an aberration to say so.

Luckily, Having an App is no longer a whim that is difficult to pay for.
