Know the Tricks to get benefits from Android applications, is very important. Why is this? Thanks to success stories, many “app-preneurs” have emerged. However, the truth is that most apps lose about 76 percent of their consumers after the first three months of use, which means that even if the product is chosen from the vast number of existing app stores, the income will soon dry up.
But then,How to create an application that attracts loyal users, and is also robust enough to be profitable? Todd DiPaola, president of inMarket and his brother Mark, CEO, sold their Vantage Media Marketing Agency in 2002 for $ 150 million, which they used to launch CheckPoints in 2010. They are now looking to launch a new app, List Bliss, which is backed by a number of lessons the entrepreneurs learned while developing their first app.
One of the things they learned is that Rushing the development process can lead to a mediocre product. “Building an app is like building a house,” says Todd. “You need to spend some time thinking about how the rooms will look before you start building.” This attention to detail has paid off: the inMarket network has more than 20 million users.
With the launch of List Bliss, inMarket is offering an easy-to-use tool for making shopping lists. The app lets users scan barcodes to add items to their lists; it also monitors ingredients already on the list, lets you share with family and friends, and incorporates product reviews. Plus, it’s free. “We have several tools lined up for users to release a few weeks after launch, but for now the priority is to release a solid 1.0 version,” DiPaola says.
Although entrepreneurs have learned many lessons in the application development process, the most important is the most obvious, as DiPaola says: “It should just work.” For six weeks, Todd and his team brainstormed. They reviewed the competition, evaluated the features of existing apps, and created a product they thought would appeal to their target audience: housewives who have recently used smartphones and don’t yet know they need a better shopping list. One of the meetings at inMarket’s offices was aimed at defining List Bliss’s design, which should stick to the essentials. “The best apps aren’t cluttered,” DiPaola says.

Tips to get benefits from apps
-
The fewer registration buttons, the better
Impatient users will look for any excuse to regret downloading your app, so you should make it easier for them to register. Keep it simple: on the first screen, it offers the free version, and on a second option, the Premium version, if it has one. It allows users to register with their email or Facebook or Twitter account.
-
Avoid unnecessary elements
Designing a good app It is based on a number of purposes, so when you add unnecessary elements, it diminishes its functionality.
In the case of List Bliss, the heart of the product, the Super List, went through several changes as each team member took different users into consideration. The challenge is to offer a functionality that appeals to a broad spectrum of users, from those who use it to write notes to those who want to monitor certain products and even divide the list into prices.
The solution? The app opens to a default Super List screen and includes an edit button that users can adjust to their preferences.
-
Offers unique features
To attract loyal users, You must offer something that no one else has. while ensuring that it is flexible, customizable and intuitive.
The most heated discussion about List Bliss revolved around the Save button on the Edit page. Someone on the team argued that users know it saves automatically, so there was no need to add buttons. Others thought that housewives would want to make sure their stuff was kept. A consensus was reached: the Save button remained, but a redundant button that appeared on the top left side was removed.
-
Check the small details
Every design element must be considered in terms of efficiency and functionality. It is also important that you test all functions, even the smallest ones, to avoid problems in the future.
It's helpful to have beta testers to provide feedback and simplify the user experience. “Sometimes you're too close to the product,” DiPaola says, so you need others to evaluate it.
Additionally, a couple of weeks before the launch, inMarket launched a customer support system to address any questions or suggestions.

Don't be afraid to make changes
Don't be afraid to change things at the last minute or have someone evaluate your product externally. Obvious solutions may not seem so obvious for those who are so involved in the process. Try anticipate potential problems that users would face.
While List Bliss has an advantage because of CheckPoint’s user base, inMarket has planned a marketing strategy for the new app: getting media and blog coverage, doing SEM, running in-house ads, and promoting on Facebook. They will also do a video presentation that DiPaola says people will relate to.
As for reviews, DiPaola says it's important get four or five star reviews from the start, as they improve their positioning in the app stores, which will make it easier to find.
-
Don't expect immediate success
While apps are expected to go viral from the start, keep in mind that users don't grow on trees and you need to go out and win them over and surprise them.
