wordpress pluginThe first step to follow is to install a plugin in WordPress. To do this you have to go to the following URL: https://wordpress.org/plugins/koapp-cors/With it installed, any page made on the basis of WordPress is transformed into a API so that access to the data it contains is immediate. And the best thing is that this will not take you even 10 minutes. From there you can go to our builder to configure both the “WordPress Posts” like the “WordPress Single“.

Each module is designed to meet a specific need. While the “WorPress Single” module is designed to present a single post, the other, “WordPress Posts”, allows you to choose a number of posts from any of the categories that the page contains. The way to configure them is quite similar.

Once in the builder, in the modules view, you have to go to “add modules” to access our Market. In it, among many other options, you can find the two related to WordPress integration. Choose the one that suits you best. Let's say for example that you choose the “WordPress Posts”. Once it appears in the builder you must drag it to include it in the menu main so that it is accessible to all users of the App.

To configure it, you must click on the “Edit” option. A new window will open with four fields to fill in. The first is to give a name to the module since you probably won't like the “WordPress Posts” one too much ;). The second one is for you to enter the url of the blog that you want to transform into an App. In the case, for example, of King of App we would put: https://kingofapp.es/ (obvious, right?). The third of the fields, “post number”, refers to the number of entries that you want to be seen in the App. There you can put as many as you want. Finally, the fourth element to edit is the categoryAs you well know, blog posts are divided into categories, so choose the one that best suits your needs.

As for the “WordPress Single” module, the configuration is quite similar. However, two fields to fill out change. The first two are identical to the previous configuration, while the third and fourth vary slightly. The third field to fill out “type” refers to the type of content depending on whether it is “pages” or “posts”, while the ID is the number identifier of the post that appears in the URL of the entry at the time we are editing it from the WordPress control panel. For example, in the case of the content of the attached image, since it is a post, in the “type” we have put “posts”. For the ID we have looked at the following URL: https://kingofapp.es/wp-admin/post.php?post=31811 from which it turns out that 31811 This is precisely the code that we must enter in this fourth field. It's not complicated at all, right?
