Calculators There are all kinds of them. From those that are already built into our phones to powerful calculation tools or Apps that simply make adding and subtracting more fun. However, PhotoMath has gone a little further and, best of all, it has been the first to do so.

This App has the particularity of performing practically any type of calculation based on a photographUntil now we had seen translators who used a similar system, but we had not yet reached the mathematical operations.

Designed and developed by the British company MicroBlinkPhotoMath is based on a powerful image recognition and processing system; technology that they have developed from the ground up and on which they have several applications to demonstrate its value and possible applications to potential buyers. PhotoMath is their latest creation and the dream of any teenager in trouble with their homework.

For the moment this App is able to solve Basic operations, fractions, decimals, linear equations and gradually new “skills” will be added. The best thing, without a doubt, is that apart from giving the result of the operation, it explains, step by step, how it was achieved, so it not only solves but also educates.

At the moment this App is only available for devices iOS and (oh surprise!) WindowsPhone. Its version for Android mobile devices will also be ready soon.
