Webinar with ASO Agency: how to position your app in app stores

Practical case of the Spanish National Team App

How was the Spanish National Team App ranked?

In the Webinar we present a practical case of an application related to the Spanish National Team for the 2018 World Cup, created by King of App and positioned in the app stores by ASO Agency. Being an application with so much competition, it was difficult to position it. However, the results were quite positive, being in the Top 10 on Google Play.  To this end, the ASO Agency carried out the following actions: Webinar, ASO Agency, Positioning, Apps, ASO 1. On-app ASO The first term discussed in the Webinar It is the On-app ASO, and some of the actions that were carried out to position the 2018 World Cup app.
  • Competition study: within Google Play, looking for apps from the same niche.
  • Once the competition was studied, it was analyzed how it works the descriptive ones, what type of content they have and how to use keywords.
  • Keyword Research: Oscar explained the tool that was used to carry out the study of the keywords, called App Keywords, a free 100% tool that searches for keywords from top-ranked apps with the highest search volumes.
2. ASO off App Having emphasized the fundamental aspects of ASO on App, it was explained how the national team's app was positioned through the ASO off App.
  • Black Hat Techniques: There is currently a very good advantage in the optimization of Apps, since they can be used Black Hat techniques more freely, because the construction of links that are made to the application within Google Play will not penalize. In the case of the World Cup App specifically, ASO Agency created 1 million Google Play links, through software, thus achieving increase the number of external inputs to the app itself.
